In parallel with the development of construction technology, especially tall buildings, there is a need to use lighter prefabricated elements for the design of facades.
The original, classic materials (blocks, bricks) and the prefabricated concrete facade elements were uneconomical for transport and assembly, and with their weight, they burdened the basic supporting structure of the building, thereby significantly increasing the consumption of materials and the cost of construction. The use of these materials also limited the height of the construction.

The combination of steel and glass was a solution to reduce weight, but there remained a number of problems related to maintenance, protection of steel, cold bridges, etc.
Aluminum facades provide a solution to all these problems and have been the most widely used for the design of facades for more than 30 years.
During this period, depending on the method of construction and installation, several basic facade systems were developed:

  • CLASSIC FACADES represent a system of facade cladding that has a supporting substructure made up of a network of aluminum profiles fixed to the construction of the building with system anchors.
Within this network, transparent glass infills, window frames or mineral wool panels  and final outer covering made of glass or other material, are placed over the supporting profiles.
The infill is attached to the supporting structure with aluminum profiles with screws. Decorative end profiles of the desired shape and color are placed over these so-called clamping profiles.
  • ELEMENT FACADE is created as a result of the tendency for fast construction.
These facades are prefabricated elements with a width equal to the grid of the facade, and with their height they enclose one floor. When finally finished, they are delivered to the construction site and mounted with light cranes.
  • VENTILATED FACADES are used in situations where parapets or solid parts of facades (concrete, block, etc.) are additionally insulated and covered with various E plates and materials resistant to external influences, with special aesthetic properties.
A decorative covering made of composite panels, various types of natural stone, ceramics, HPL, fiber cement, etc. is placed over the appropriate substructure, the thermal insulation layer.
