The tendency of rapid construction and tall buildings forced the development of facade systems with uniform units that are brought to the site as ready-made, prefabricated elements and fixed to the building's structure via a system of anchors.
The engineering team of ASC was among the first to see the need for such systems, so the first construction with ready-made floor panels was carried out more than 25 years ago, on the Official Gazette building in Belgrade, in 1997.
Namely, these were the first steps, and it started from the request of the investor to replace the facade without a single day of work interruption.
The solution of the Italian company Al Progetti from Trieste was used, with certain modifications. Later, cooperation was established and our team continued to develop this system to the actual ELEMENT FACADE system. Among the first serious projects in 2003, the AIRPORT CITY, which has more than 15 buildings, was started in Belgrade, and the "AIRPORT CITY 2400" is also being completed these days.
In addition to this project, many buildings were built in Serbia, Montenegro, the Russian Federation, Kuwait, etc.
Among the others, this project is the best proof of a successful and high-quality solution of our team regarding the facade element system. Buildings built 20 years ago and the construction of new buildings can be observed in one place.
EF 70 is an element facade system with a long tradition. For a period of 20 years, many improvements and technical innovations have been made, so that the system remains competitive nowadays in terms of its technical performance (resistance to wind blows, resistance to water leakage, air permeability and thermal protection).
For the first time in this area, at the AIRPORT CITY 1700 facility, the installation of the element facade began at a stage when the construction of the facility was not yet completed.
In an architectural sense, we achieved that the entire facade looks identical from the outside and the inside.
The EF 75 system was developed as an "adaptable design" for the BUSINES GARDEN facility in Belgrade, with a lot of challenging details, especially in the part of glass and sheet metal filling.
EF 75.1 is a variation of the system where 5mm thick "LAMINAM" plates are used to fill the solid parts.
The solution was made for the "MONA PLAZA" project in Belgrade.
